Booking Terms

Your agreement with the operator

These terms apply to reservations made with The Forest Hotel (“we”, “us”, “our”). The Forest Hotel is the accommodation operator, merchant of record, and party responsible for your booking, stay, charges, refunds, and guest service.

Booking and payment

A booking is confirmed only when you receive a confirmation from us and any required deposit or payment has been authorized. You must provide accurate guest, contact, occupancy, and payment information. Prices, taxes, deposits, due dates, included services, and any security or damage terms shown during checkout form part of your booking. The cancellation and refund policy is displayed before you submit payment. Deposits are refundable according to the operator's stated cancellation window.

Cancellations, changes, and refunds

The cancellation and refund policy shown during checkout and in your confirmation applies to your reservation. Requests to change dates, occupancy, services, or the named guest are subject to availability and our approval. We may cancel or alter a booking where required for safety, illegality, payment failure, property damage, or circumstances that make the stay unavailable; any refund will follow applicable law and the policy disclosed with your booking.

Guest responsibilities

• Follow the occupancy limits, check-in and checkout times, house rules, and safety instructions shown for the property.
• Respect neighbours, staff, other guests, the property, and any restricted areas.
• Remain responsible for the conduct of every person included in your reservation.
• Report damage, hazards, access problems, or material booking errors promptly.
• Pay authorized charges for damage, missing items, extra cleaning, or rule violations where the disclosed booking terms and law permit.

Property conditions and risk

Accommodation and outdoor settings may involve weather, terrain, wildlife, water, fire, equipment, stairs, and other ordinary risks. Follow posted and communicated instructions and supervise children and dependants. We will disclose known property hazards relevant to your stay. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or remedy that applicable consumer law does not allow us to exclude.

Privacy and communications

We use the information you provide to administer the booking, take payment, communicate about your stay, support safety and access, and meet legal obligations. The operator is the controller of your personal information and is responsible for privacy compliance. See our Privacy Policy. Transactional messages about your reservation are part of the booking service. Marketing messages require any consent applicable by law.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable where The Forest Hotel is established and the property is located, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern promptly.
